SquareHub is essentially a like a private Facebook for you and your family. There is a shared calendar, you can share status updates, locations/check-ins, and photos, just like you would with Facebook, but without the worry of others seeing it. SquareHub is cross platform, so it doesn't matter if one parent has an Android and the other has an iPhone and a child has a Kindle - everyone can use the app.
One of the things that makes SquareHub unique is that it was developed as a result of divorce and as a potential remedy to the communications issues that arise form divorce. It enables both parents to exchange information but without needing to communicate verbally, cutting down on the potential problems of "they didn't tell me" or "I wasn't notified." It also allows the children (assuming they're old enough for their own smartphone) to communicate with both parents openly and without having to go behind the back of the other to do so.

The developer "discovered that, as a divorced dad of three teen and tween girls, it was a pain to 'manage communication and logistics and maintain a 'virtual presence' with our daughters as they went back and forth between two houses. Social networks were too public for our kids and our family communication. The girls rarely used email, and filtering text messages was a pain.' His kids were old enough, and he was tech-savvy enough, to want something that combined Facebook with a traditional family refrigerator calendar."

2houses.com is a neutral, easy-to-use interface that removes emotional stress and helps parents to focus on what is most important in their lives—their children. One parent registers on the platform, fills out the preliminary information like the parenting schedule rules and then the co-parent receives a nice invite explaining the advantages of the system.

All entries stored in the app can be forwarded directly to an email address so that you can send pertinent information to your attorney, child support office or recipient of your choice.

Our Family Wizard

Plan pricing starts at $99/year (you have to sign up for the plan to use the app) w/30-day money back guarantee
Our Family Wizard is a versatile, high-powered tool for helping manage shared custody arrangements. Use it to share messages, communicate expenses, and update your spouse about items like the children’s doctor’s visits. Best of all, you don’t have to involve your children by making them messengers between you and your ex spouse. By using the journaling function, “he said/she said” conflicts can be reduced. It’s written in stone so there’s no question about when, where and what took place. The app includes a calendar, message board, expense log, journal, and an info bank for safe storage of family information. There’s also a notification center for emails and texts. You’ll never miss out on important dates or correspondence again.
The $99 annual fee (per parent) is definitely more than the other apps listed, but compared to attorney's fees, it may be worthwhile.
